Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Luang Prabang
Arrive in Luang Prabang, where you will be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to
your accommodation.
After check-in, enjoy a bicycle ride through the charming UNESCO Heritage town and discover
the relaxed atmosphere of the old quarter.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, begin exploring the historic city with visits to Wat Visoun, known for its
distinctive Thai-Lue inspired architecture, and the famous That Makmo Stupa, often referred to
as the “Watermelon Stupa” because of its rounded shape.
Continue to Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most significant and elegant temples in Luang
Prabang, originally built in the 16th century.
Later, climb Mount Phousi for panoramic views over the city, surrounding mountains, and the
Mekong River at sunset.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight stay at your hotel.

Pak Ou Caves & Mekong River Excursion
Early in the morning, witness the traditional Tak Bat ceremony, where Buddhist monks collect
alms from local residents. This spiritual ritual remains an important part of Lao culture and daily
life. Your guide will explain the proper etiquette and traditions associated with this sacred
practice while providing insight into local customs.
After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace Museum, home to valuable historical artifacts and royal
collections from Laos’ recent history.
Transfer to the local pier and board a traditional boat for a cruise along the Mekong River toward
the famous Pak Ou Caves.
Along the journey, stop at Thin Hong village to observe rural life and local traditions.
Explore Tham Ting and Tham Phoum caves, both renowned for their hundreds of sacred Buddha
images placed inside the limestone caverns over many centuries.
Lunch will be served either onboard or at a local restaurant.
Return to Luang Prabang by boat with a stop at Ban Xang Khong, a village famous for
traditional handmade paper and local handicrafts.
Free time afterward to stroll through the old town or browse the local Hmong market.

Suwannaphumaham, one of the city’s largest and most beautifully decorated monasteries,
located near the Royal Palace and night market.
Continue to Wat Sensoukharam, commonly known as Wat Sene. Built in 1718, the temple is said
to have been financed with 100,000 kip, from which its name originated. The temple was later
restored in 1957 during celebrations marking the 2500th anniversary of the Buddha’s birth.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, travel approximately 32 kilometers southwest of Luang Prabang to the beautiful
Kuang Si Falls.
Enjoy a short walk through the forest to reach the cascading turquoise waterfalls. Guests may
relax, explore the natural surroundings, or swim in the crystal-clear pools.
Return to Luang Prabang and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
