Arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your
local guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

After arrival, enjoy a relaxed bicycle ride into the heart of the UNESCO heritage town, exploring
the charming streets of the old city and its peaceful atmosphere.

In the evening, experience a cultural welcome dinner inside one of the most beautiful heritage
houses in the old quarter. The program includes a traditional Baci blessing ceremony,
performances of Lao music and dance, and a private dinner shared with a local Lao family,
offering an authentic cultural experience.

Early morning, witness the Tak Bat alms-giving ceremony, where monks walk silently through
the streets collecting offerings. This sacred ritual is an important part of daily life in Laos. Your
guide will explain proper etiquette and cultural meaning while you observe respectfully
alongside locals.

Continue with a city exploration including:

• Wat Visoun, known for its unique architecture influenced by Thai-Lue style, and the That
Makmo Stupa (Watermelon Stupa)
• Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most important and beautifully preserved temples in Luang
Prabang dating back to the 16th century

Transfer to the Mekong River pier and board a traditional boat for a scenic upstream cruise to the
sacred Pak Ou Caves.

On the way, stop at Thin Hong village to observe local rural life along the Mekong River.

Visit Tham Ting and Tham Phoum caves, home to hundreds of Buddha statues placed by
pilgrims over generations.

Lunch served on the boat during the cruise toward Pak Ou.

Return to Luang Prabang by boat, stopping at Ban Xang Khong, a traditional village known for
handmade paper and local handicrafts.

In the evening, return to town and climb Mount Phousi for panoramic sunset views over the city
and Mekong River, followed by free time at the Hmong night market.

Begin the day with visits to important temples in the old city:

• Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham, one of the largest and most elegant temples located near
the Royal Palace and night market
• Wat Sensoukharam, also known as Wat Sene, originally built in 1718 and restored in
1957

Continue to the Royal Palace Museum, which houses important royal artifacts and reflects the
history of Laos’ former monarchy.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, travel approximately 32 km west to the famous Kuang Si Falls. Enjoy a short
walk through the forest before reaching the turquoise multi-tiered waterfalls.

Time to relax or swim in the natural pools before returning to the city.
